Water for Daphne?

Hey, this could be considered spoilers, so you may not want to read the thread if you haven't gotten this far.

I'm stuck at the part where I have to give Daphne water - I have the jug and have hit square to talk to her with it, and tried dropping it at her feet. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious - how do I give Daphne the water?

Throw it at her (break the jug on her) like you can throw any item you carry, and it will count as watering her.
You will have to do it a few times more, as her health bar indicates.

Yeah it was pretty obvious - just had to break the water jars at her altar.
