I am guessing both of u are using "onboard" video cards or something or some very very low grade addon video card.
Lastly, you didn't even give your spec's like what OS, cpu, ram, video card...etc.
your gonna get NO help without that info.
You should prolly retitle this thread PC is BROKEN !!! ....lol
My PC's: (running game No Problems)
win 7 x64
q6600 / q9550
4gb - 8gb
gtx 285 x2 (sli if needed)usually i don't
1. Please open the NVIDIA Control Panel then click Manage 3D settings under 3D settings.
2. From the Global Settings tab, please set the Anisotropic filtering and the Antialiasing - Mode to Application controlled.
3. Set the Vertical sync to Use the 3D application setting.
4. Click Apply button and close the NVIDIA Control Panel then run the game.
And it worked 100%
How did you pan left/right ?
maybe i missed a setting in game but so far i keep looking forward & running around sides ways instead of looking toward where i am running.
thats bout all the problems i have ATM.
@Shockwave my paning left/right is the basic hold down right-click and turn camera. Fast turning or slow turning can achieve the jumpiness. It's not constant, it's just super often. I definitely experience it more in certain places, like in the common hall in Castle Black. While on the grounds on Castle Black it doesn't happen nearly so much. Running around Riverside was pretty bad for me. I involve a medium amount of strafing (as is common to FPS movements and such, but invariably you have to turn your camera either way.
THX, i will RE set my controls & see what right-click used to be since i thiunk i changed it..
THX ......& GAME ON !!!!
If you have an ATI/AMD Radeon HD graphics card:
1. Please open the ATI Control Panel (Catalyst Control Center).
2. Click Gaming then 3D Application Settings.
3. Check 'Use application settings' for all settings.
4. Click Apply button then run the game
1) There is no such checkbox under "Gaming > 3d Application Settings" in the Catalyst Control Center with version 13.4. There are however a number of drop down menus that can be changed under specific areas.
2) As I indicated to t.duffy, I've already changed every setting under the "Gaming > 3d Application Settings" to "Use Application Settings" that I can. Compared to the defaults, I believe this only changed Tessellation. So, for a grand total of 6 settings set to using application, this includes, 1) Anti-Aliasing Mode 2) Anti-Aliasing Samples 3) Anisotropic Filtering Mode 4) Anisotropic Filtering Level 5) Tessellation Mode and 6) Maximum Tessellation Level. There is only one ambiguity there, "Wait for Vertical Refresh" is set to "Off, unless application specifics" and my alternative is, "On, unless application specifies." So, it seems to me that if the application is specifying vertical refresh then this setting is in fact "Use application settings".
I am really glad you're trying to help out. I'm still playing through the game, I just know I'll enjoy it so much more if I can subtract this graphics glitch.
I love Game of Thrones and I do like how the game began, the overall look and feel, albeit sub-standard animations, bad lip-sync, mixed quality voice acting,...
but what makes the game unplayable for me are those weird performance/ stutter/ frame skip/ lag issues, I can not believe the game devs only have "disable forced vsync settings" or similar useless crap to say to these issues,... I have none forced grafic driver driver settings whatsoever active regarding the game but it still had those issues right from the start, of course I do have it run in fullscreen and after that I tried all kinds of ini tweaks but to no avail, nothing helped.
In certain scenes/ places (eg. mess hall at the start of the game) the game performance makes playing nearly impossible as it skips the direction ur turning in and it also is damn annoying especially since nothing demanding is going on on screen, even with all details set to their lowest settings, these frame skip/ lag issues still happen, I went even further and disabled nearly everything through ini settings (which otherwise you could not have done through ingame settings as it only exposes very basic settings) and these slow downs/ skips still happen.
Their devs should be able to figure out what is going on but instead they do nothing aside since release mentioning in their forums they would investigate and only giving most basic and in these cases useless advice while clearly something is wrong with the build of the game they released,...
This is not worthy of Game of Thrones
