The game looks good but whats up with one hit kill shots ?
Is everyone rocking some kind of sniper in the game, or are hitpoints so low? But you usually die in fraction of second if anyone shoots you. Is this supposed to be like it? Or is everyone rocking some cheat ?

The bolt snipers 1 hit kill on upper torso, shoulders, neck and head. The fast TTK of smgs, rifles etc etc is just because the netcode is pretty bad. This at times will make it seem people are using wallhacks or you are getting killed when you already behind cover.

Its a great game, but the netcode basically pulls it down immensely to the point i think many people will be turned off from the experience in general.

6 shots in somebody their screen will translate into only 2 in yours and more of those shenanigans.
ak close range can 2 tap, but there are a hugh amount of people who only play meta guns, snipers/shotguns broken etc

I have not seen much evidence for terrible netcode so far. Dying behind cover is something that happens in 100% of all online shooting games and is something that is unavoidable due to laws of physics.

That said what is aknowledged by the devs and is easy to miss is the bug where your server selection gets changed. Several times now I have started up the game and the servers being on Asia for some reason instead of the EU. So if you are experiencing terrible lag issues then I'd suggest you check on the server selection when in the main menu.

Not talking about lag here mate its the visual translation of you getting killed where in sound and speed you basically are getting 2 tapped when running around a corner. At least that is how it feels like.

Now the funny thing is if you look at the PoG which is their screen translation you can see they are firing 6 shots or more even to kill you, but in your screen its 0.3 seconds to death while for them its a full second if not more.

I have seen fast paced shooters having this problem before but its especially atrocious in this game for some reason. In allot of cases giving you the feeling you had no time to react and giving you the feeling people are aimbotting or wallhacking.

Yes this is very worrying.
I really like this game because it reminds me a lot of Dirty Bomb. But I am getting 1-2 tapped by people from very far and constantly. Best comparison to this would be railgun in Unreal Tournament.

Now. I dont have problem with that. There are certanly games where skillshots and sniping and one tap kills are the gameplay. But I did not imagine this is this game or its wish of the devs?

I mean in Dirty Bomb ( or let say Overwatch if we take example of hero shooters ) you can die 2 tap to shotgun up close or 1 tap to sniper if you are static. But usually you have enough reaction time to back up and heal, or retreat... Not here...

But here I am getting 2 tapped from afar , while running and jumping....

Really sad. I hope the game will get better cause I really see potential

There is a possibility of this being due to some ISP's within the United States intentionally causing/creating latency.

Verizon FIOS is one such company that causes such network imperfections - regardless of whether or not you are paying for gigabit speeds. Even with a direct wired connection to your modem, you will still face over 25ms latency on download and upload. Prime connection speeds for gaming would have less than 5ms latency on both of the aforementioned measurements. But unfortunately, with FIOS, that simply isn't possible.

at least someone agrees the netcode is bad
the pvp in this seems stupid as hell, ive never even seen my hp be anything other than max or dead
when you are on escort but both team use only sniper....
yeah the netcode is wack on this game, it could also be the server refresh rate or hosting locations etc. It could be a lot of little things snowballing into one big thing. Hard to tell with the current state of the game. My biggest concern for the state of the current build is CONSISTENCY. not one single match or gunfight has been consistent. sometimes I 3 tap with SMG's and AR's other times I have to mag dump. The only weapons in this game with consistent kill potential are snipers and the side arms.

Yes, this is normal, the game has very low TTK. Snipers and shotguns can oneshot, every other gun can delete you in less than a second.

Honestly I played some WW2 simulation games like Red Orchestra, that try to simulate actual gun wounds. And even there you are more likely to survive.

It is more akin to hitscan games like Unreal Tournament Railgun mode or Tribes. But they are using arcadey "sci-fi" weapons.

Being able to one shot a player that is running and jumping - and constantly, not as a fluke - from across the map. Its either by cheat , or really bad game design. ( since its not even possible in sniper focused games )

he was with the vector and killed 3 in seconds from 20-30m away all headshots :thumbs_up:

Have you never seen or played Call of Duty? Rifle TTK in CoD is typically in milliseconds and SMGS kill even faster than rifles in range, like this game. Snipers and shotties in CoD can one shot.

This is an arcade shooter, like CoD. Specifically like Black Ops 4 or 3. Expecting to not die instantly is a fool's game.

Its often compared to Dirty Bomb. ( which is by anyone standard a very competent and classic shooter )
And in DB you can get one shot from close range by shotgun to face or by sniper if you stand still.
But here I am constantly one shot from far away, while sprinting zig zaging and jumping.
If you have players that can pull such skill shots constantly in this game. Than damn, call the professional league - this game is ready for world master competitions, since it seems all pro's are playing it.
Strange though nobody heard about it...
Maybe its because all the aimbot cheaters ?
