I’m sorry too say that he is very wrong and that was quite ignorant of him too assume it, not all indie devs give off viruses in games. He’s definitely not an expert if he has to ask himself that without doing no research about the game. Anyway happy playing. Cheers! :P
ah okay. he is my best friend, i am going to trust him over stranger, but i remember what u say xD
Of course, and yeah I totally understand the trust part but since it’s been now confirmed everything is all good!
in other words your are completely safe
Explain?
By itself it usually does not do anything harmfull, but it is HUGE FKING BACKDOOR for all kind of other malicious code - since now bad boys instead of breaking through whole Windows security system, have to just find a single vulnerability in "Easy Anti Cheat" and voila - they are inside your computer without you even knowing it.
This is a HUGE security breach and even fighting cheaters does not justify it (BTW, as you can see in other topics, Shatterline have huge problems with cheaters anyway, so this whole risking is for naught anyway.....)
do you even know slightly what you are talking about.
