Demo no way to remap you keyboard
A other game where left handed people are left out !!!!
Good job.... let me start by saying its removed from my Wish-list... so i hope you add keyboard mapping soon... till that time Ciao.

Hey Mr. Griffin! We are very sorry about this oversight. We forgot about left handed people AND non-QWERTY users :steamfacepalm: BUT we're working on this right now and will support custom key-bindings soon!
Wait im left handed too but never saw anyone using the mouse with the left hand

I'm glad and hope you will enjoy the game once it's playable with custom key bindings! We've made good progress and the backend part is mostly done. Now we need to work on the UI side to get it ready. I will let you know when the custom key bindings are in!

What a bizarre post. I'm left-handed and have never seen anyone use their left hand to use a mouse. I can accept that people may want to, but to cry off with "let me start by saying its removed from my Wish-list"? Really? You're exactly the type of customer I wouldn't want. Melt.

never not used a mouse with my left hand, personally. and yeah, not being able to rebind keys is an instant uninstall/refund for me in most scenarios.

looking forward to it, i saw a bit of gameplay on YT and it caught my interest!
3% of left handed people use a mouse left handed. 10% of people are left handed. 3/1000 are in your predicament. I find it odd that you think indie devs have to cater for that, in a bloody demo! A lot of things, including a lot of games don't cater for left-handers, I know, as one of them. So rather than stamp my feet like toddler, I decided to adapt. Each to their own.

i'm glad some developers choose to offer support for rebinding, especially in their "bloody demos." because that signifies to me that they actually care about their playerbase.

We underestimated how important custom key bindings are for players - that was stupid. It's a lesson learned for us and we will implement custom key bindings from the start in future games. I hope we have it in Castle Craft in the next 1-2 weeks!

Hello Twin Earthling, I hope I'm not disturbing you too much...

Could you maybe give us a small update on when the fix will be implemented would be appreciated. You mentioned it would take 1 or 2 weeks, but it's been 4 weeks already. There's no need to worry as I have plenty of time since the game hasn't been released yet, and April and May are already packed with other game releases.

Nevertheless, an update on the progress would still be nice. It's always good to keep other players informed as well, especially those who may be experiencing the same issue.

It's been a bit more complicated than we thought but we're nearly there and are currently testing the update :-) We hope to be able to update the Demo by the end of this week.

We hope it will be worth the wait as we have a few other goodies that we'll release as well:

*Improved cannon behavior: They now ensure they have a line of sight on the target, don’t *target units they can’t hit due to the required rotation, and prioritize closer target
*Pickups now fall & enable physics if the world underneath has been destroyed
*The salvage tool now highlights things you can salvage (units, traps)
*Large traps now affect Minions navigation, getting them to avoid them
*Improved target actor when placing cubes horizontally, allowing to place horizontally even *in challenging conditions such as very horizontal look-at angle
*Performance: Improved death handling of vehicles for better performance

When the patch is released I'll also make a Steam post so that you won't miss it!

Hey AbrokkoliBoi - that was a huge oversight on our part :steamsad: But we've added custom key bindings now and will roll the updated Demo out on Tuesday! It will also be in the early access release right from the start.
