Hello everyone! :steamhappy: We've just pushed a patch that addresses quality of life requests, performance issues and bugs. Here is the full list of changes we've made:

  • Improved digging visual effects & digging minions now also occasionally find additional resources
  • Pickaxe can be used mid-air
  • Siege Tower not launched into air anymore and can be damaged with melee weapons from the ground
  • Blade Prison now correctly places the blades in the ground instead of sometimes inside enemy units.
  • Jumping doesn’t interrupt sprinting anymore
  • Less steep difficulty curve after wave 3, overall improved balancing.
  • Tweak genome generation values (catapults and rams are advancing less quickly, their upgrades are more costly)
  • Resources always in natural numbers now
  • Fix enemy units attacking dead player
  • Fix player being able to finish already started sword or shield combos when dying
  • Fix minions sometimes digging bottom-up instead of top-down & not having shovel particle effects
  • Fix skip castle restoration stuck in black screen

Our next priorities are:

1. Custom key bindings.
2. Performance improvements
3. Add a platoon movement tool
4. More bug fixes.

The minions finding resources is absolutely massive! Midair pickaxe too. Great stuff.

How about being able to move the king? can we do that? Would like to build a castle and place him properly. Also more time between attacks perhaps? Also perhaps not require stone to place down grass tiles and just let us use grass tiles we break up?

Not yet, but I'm working on that tomorrow! I'll increase the default time between attacks a bit more. And there will be a creative mode in the full game, where you can trigger attacks whenever you feel ready :-)

Could you explain the last point a bit more?

Haha, yeah maybe we should do an event post for this :-) I think we'll post once we have a few patches.
