Coop is on our list of things we would love to do. Unfortunately we're a very small team, so we can't implement it right on start. But if the game does well enough we'll definitely look into this!
something that i feel like many smaller dev teams don't realise is how big of a impact COOP has on how many people would actually buy your game.
take the biggest crafting survival games for example, Valheim, Minecraft, Palworld, Enshrouded and so on, now imagine they would have been singleplayer only, they would have literally been sold 90% to 95% less, i own all of them i would only own minecraft if they where all singleplayer only.
The only reason why people buy games like this is to play them with friends.
and i fully agree with most comments here, coop would make this game from a "maybe" to a guaranteed purchase for me and my friends.
