is every build multi-bullet build? i feel those are the only one working for me, it gets kinda boring

You mean that you upgrqde every build to shoot multiple bullets at once?

If you buy all the different upgrades at the store, you'll usually have the option to avoid the multi-bullet ones in a given run, especially if you also get the custom pods that let you reroll or banish. but i do feel like the multi-bullet things are usually the best choice in terms of efficiency.

thanks for the answer , yes i meant that multi buttet is so good even if i didnt complete the game it feels very safe to pick

Yeah, it's kinda unavoidable too, if you want health regeneration upgrades

The problem is "fun" builds break the game. When you start counting seconds per frame instead of fps it is bad. Also the fact you cannot go under 30% bullet opacity makes it hard to do anything but pray you're not walking in some damage once your screen is full. Or if you're trying the "oven" (containment field + flamethrower)

I've been trying out building the best self-harm build. Blood mag's damage scales ridiculously. I'm still not sure which branch of it is better, but they both do pretty silly things, especially if you can accrue enough health regen to outpace the self-harm.

No. In fact if you want to kill EL Fuego you generally do it with a single shot build, using all the reload damage buffs stacked.
