Achievements broken?

I get the achievements in-game, but Steam doesn't see them. Something broken in the last patch?

Same here. I just played it again to get the ones I missed a couple months back and steam did not register them.

I'm having the same problem. I was just about to post about it when I came across this post. I am wondering if the achievements are just in game and not on Steam. It doesn't say anything about achievements on the store page for this game. That aside, I am enjoying the game :)

There are both achievements in game and Steam. As soon as you start the game, you can see the achievements to unlock via Steam interface.
What i don't know if this happens to everybody, or just a few players.
Also wondering if the developer of this game is listening us...

Thanks for responding. I have checked the achievements in game and I have about 3 of them so far but they are not registering on Steam itself. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

i submitted a support ticket on steam and they sent me this.


This typically happens because you are not connected to Steam friends at the time you received the achievement, either due to intentionally setting yourself to "Offline," or due to network connectivity issues.

If you are set to offline in your Steam friends list, please ensure you are set to one of the online statuses, then re-attempt the achievement.

Otherwise, please complete the following steps, then re-attempt the achievement:

Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the files in this folder except:

- \Steamapps\ and \Userdata\ folders

- Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo)

Restart your computer.

Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

i tried it and it did not work. so i sent a reply. i will post the results when i get a reply.

That's really bad advice! Support people should be flogged for it. But we should be happy they didn't write "Just reinstall your windows"...

yeah it is very genaric. i sent a ticket for something totally differant and got the same reply!
