a little warning tho,I dunno if its my pad since its an old piece of junk like my inputs are lagged or somthing, but when the dash is bound to a macro you cant use any attack instantly after like, you cant dash>j.HP you need to have a bit of delay OR (another temporary solution) double tap the attack you want
And please don't get me wrong. I am a beginner and I'm not aggravated in the slightest. Just curious. I don't know if learning to time a button combination would be effective if I plan on getting a fightstick anyways. And for games that support following up combos with air dashes, usually they're not hard to impliment (I might need a spell check here lol..)
Either way, thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure this is something that won't be changed and I feel like it would be easier on a fightstick. (After trying air dashes on KB and on my friends Q4 I can say personally, it's a lot easier). Either way, thanks for the responses!
Are you having problems with raw airdashes or air dash canceling?
And sorry to hurt your brain, Secret =P This is probably the easiest command for a honed player. And if I may ask, what do you use for a controller (Stick, keyboard, gamepad, mind??)
But regardless, thanks. I'll just have to put in those hours of painful practice =P
Thanks for the input too. I've never ever ever played a fighter with the 360 controllers d-pad.. But I'll give that a shot too! And this is also the first "Swap-em-out" type fighter. So there's a lot to learn. So far I've only been playing 1 character at a time as adding more commands to the mix is even more nerve wracking. As far as the IAD I'll give it a shot. Combos (so far) aren't too hard but that's executing them in training. And I've only managed to beat arcade with a single character on "Normal" diff.
