Fightstick not working
So I have my fightstick plugged into my computer, the computer is detecting it, the game is detecting it, but it's not working. I can't tell you more than that the fightstick is a Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition stick, and also that it's designed for PS3. Anyway, know any solutions to this problem, or maybe a mod that I can install to make it work?

So is that why it won't work, then?

Did you select the controller for player one when Skullgirls started up?

Go into controls and see if you have to re-configure them.
(I'm not sure it's an issue with the fightstick, but that's my last thought.)

I was tryint to set the controller to player 1, but it wouldn't do anything, and it still didn't do anything when I tried re-configuring the controls.

Yeah, it's probably a controller problem. I have a gamepad, and I'll probably have to end up using it, but I'd rather use the stick, since it's better.

Try using the stick with another game, just to see if it's malfunctioning.

I mean, it works fine on my PS3, but yeah, I'll go check it out on another PC game

Don't the Madcatz PS3 sticks have compatibility issues with some motherboards or something?

I'm using a Madcatz SFIV TE R2 stick for XBOX360 and it works just fine from the first time I launched Skullgirls.

Again, works fine on my PS3. I'm sure it is compatability issues. I was kinda hoping that someone knew about a mod that fixed that.

Ok dude, that is certainly an issue with your fightstick. Exclusive to the with PS3 models. I myself own a Madcatz MvsC3 TE Stick and in the beginning it didn't work plugged to my PC.

*You can confirm that, if you go into your windows settings under devices & printers, right-click the stick (should be displayed as a controller) and go to controller settings. The button inputs won't register.

But there is a solution to it: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1988634

Hope that helps, buddy.

EDIT: I should clarify, you NEED a different USB card. The solution in the third post only works if button presses are registered (check the paragraph marked with *). If not a different USB card is mandatory, I got mine for like 2 bucks (€ though) in a hardware store around the corner :D

Theres a program you need to download and install to make PS3 gamepads and sticks work for your PC I think, though I don't know what it is. I use the madcatz SFXT Stick for Xbox 360. All I had to do was plug it in and GTG

No there's not, I never needed one for my PS3 Fighting Edge.
