Stuck on Loading...

[Game Appreciation]

Using Occulus VR, Xbox 360 controller, PC... I can look around in the game and see the lunar capsule. But my screen just stays stuck on loading. Any ideas?

I just pushed out a Hotfix for this issue, restart your Steam Client if it doesn't update.

I stuck on loading too. It worked fine but now I enter the main menu press A, ... select a map, press load and then nothing happens anymore. I just see the Lunar Lander trying to land in an endless loop.

I validated the files, reinstalled the game, restarted the PC and steam. Then again in different order. But nothing helped. It just won't load the level anymore.

Any ideas what I can do?

Ok I have a solution.

Uninstalling did not fix it, I guess because the savegames were somehow damaged. I tried deleting the regestry entires, even uninstalling steam. Nothing helped.

Then I found the savegames under MyDocuments/Save Games/LunarLander

I deleted them and all was well. So it looks like there is a bug preventing all maps from loading if the savegames are corrupted. Maybe an autorecovery would be good.

Great game by the way! I could play all day with Oculus Rift - it is endless fun!

I now just get the Loading screen and not visuals out the cockpit. I had it work one or two times, but now just get the loading screen. I tried what was suggested and deleted the files save game files but no luck. My saved game files on Win 10 machine were stored under documents/Saved Games/LunarFlight. The simulation actually runs and I can thrust up and forward and see the small displays but no view out my window. I love the concept of this game as a pilot and aerospace engineer but until they fix some bugs I guess I won't be able to play it. This game is worth fixing and hope the developers realize this.

This is still broken. Constantly says 'LOADING...' I can start the craft, fly around, all seems to work but there's only a view of earth and stars and no moon. The little displat works and shows moon but it's not there through the windows. And nothing gets rid of the LOADING sign. Is the developer still around?

I also tried deleting saves and they seem to be stuck there. When i try to delete it claims they're not there?

I just got the game and had the same 'LOADING' message which didn't disappear upon starting the game.
I tried a couple of things but here the thing that worked in the end:

1) Uninstall the game.

2) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Shovsoft\Lunar Flight and delete it in your registry.

3) Delete the save game folder (C:\Users\USER1\Documents\Saved Games
If deleting isn't possible due to the message that the folder can't be located, start up 7zip and add the files to a new archive. And make sure you select the 'delete files after packing'.
For some reason 7zip has no problem deleting it. Once done simple delete the new zip file.

4) Install the game without the vr-beta option.

5) Start game and start a new mission.
If all is ok you can see the outside view once the mission start.

6) Exit, and install the vr-beta option.

7) Tadaa! Bob's you uncle !

I don't know if anybody is still reading this but I hope it's still useful for someone.

Not sure which version you are using.. however an Anniversary Edition is available that you might want to try out listed in the beta tab..

hmmm, VR seems to work now, but I cant seem to get my joystick to work properly. I dont want to use the motion controllers of my rift, just my hotas.

After seeing controller configuration posts.. I'm almost afraid to even try to get my hotas working.

I'll give it a shot tonight and see if it works.
