I have another suggestion, the character creator. With the character creator you can create your own character. So with it you can choose what abilities you want the character to have, what trait it has, name and description. And maybe even that you can change the color of the character and put a image into the game so you can make the stickman have a face or just a image on its torso or head And also there may be switches you can activate while creating the character, for example "Invincible to attacks while buzzed from coffee", "Anime run" and more. And you could maybe even change the default health or size of the character using it. The maximum amount of custom characters you can have is 3-5, but maybe can be upgraded to a higher number with a upgrade. You could maybe upload them to a kind of workshop in game or to the steam workshop. And custom characters will not give you money.

Maybe they can do that if they add level editor to make your own stickmen bosses. enemies levels and such.

I would say you add a workshop into the game itself, because I always feel nervous and confused whenever doing it through the steam workshop
