Explain the time colours in game?
Hello, I am in time trial and I have some different time colours.
What is a purble, red, and green time at the sector border and at the end of a round?

What do the colours mean in a race?
When I have a slow first sector and a fast second sector in example can I see only the second sector time, or always the time from the beginning of the round to the sector border?

best regards

Purple means you set a fastest sector or lap time in a session out of all the drivers. Green means you are beating your personal best, and the red means you are going slower. :D Hope i helped you !!:KSmiley:

Yes you helped me thank you very much but its not the complete answer!
Sector 1 time is from beginning lap to end sector 1.
Sector 2 time is from beginning lap to end sector 2 and not from beginning sector 2 to end sector 2.
Sector 3 time is from beginning lap to end sector 3 and not from beginning sector 3 to end sector 3.

I am interested in only the sector time!

In time trial I also see only the sector times from my best lap not all laps. Also when I go to the box in time trial the bord monitor shows always 0 driven laps and
when I drive out of the box the lap counter beginns by zero.

best regards

also, in race if you have a normal "black and white" time (meaning you have no special colors) that means that you set a lap inside +/- 0.250s from your pace. that means you're racing constant, not losing, not gaining.

I dont think you get all that information included in this game if ive understood you correctly? It is a bit poo, i would like to know my sector times from previous laps too. But in game you can see your fastest lap time, but thats about it.

What do you mean with pace? Do you mean average?

Do you mean green is x seconds better than average over all self driven laps and red is x seconds slower? What do the numbers mean? Sorry, but I will stick this up :-)

Somtimes I get a green time box in race with (-xxxx Tempo) in it, sometimes I get red box with (+xxxx Tempo) in it. To what other times belong this green and red times! Is there a sheet out there with all time informations? I could not believe that codemaster has not manufactured a manual with this very essential and important information.

Has everyone connections to someone from codemasters to get all timecolor informations with some scenarios? For everyone who find my questions stupid, excuse me please and take a closer look at the times during racing, its not so easy as the explanations above.
It would be nice if someone could give me a complete solution :-)

I got green lap times but a I am still 4 seconds away from my best lap?

or

best lap 1:30
actual lap 1:42
red box +2.123

What do you meen with get faster or slower? Faster or slower than the last lap? Or Faster or slower than the average lap time? If average, what is average? Average from three or ten laps or from all the laps?

What are meant with coloured sector times? I am far away from a best lap/sector but got green sector/lap times?

Please can somebody this try out for me? Only few screen shots with explanation!

I have already looked in the comunity user guide but there ist nothing?
