Try it out, but I am sure you will feel like me! The tests in the magazins for G27 are always good
but for googd drivers its nothing because its to much plastic inside. Play with controller or look for a Fanatech! If you buy the G27 like me, please give me a feedback. Mine is already sold!
If you don't want to spend more than $200 your only choice is the Logitech DFGT. There's no other wheel under 200 that is worth getting and the DFGT is only $100. You get basically everything a G27 has except there's no clutch pedal or h pattern shifter.
On the bright side it's a great wheel that has nearly all you need.
You can buy a different pedal set with a clutch and a H pattern shifter and use it with the DFGT on PC games, but for PS3 you'll have a great wheel with good force feedback, 900 degrees of steering, and it especially works great with GT5, since it was made for Gran Turismo.
Has a ton of buttons on it too which really come in handy.
That is absolute nonsense. The G27 is fine. Don't listen to this guy.
The Fanatec is better, but a gamepad is a waste of time. Only people too stubborn to learn how to drive with a wheel would ever use a gamepad after using a wheel.
Once you start using a wheel, you can never go back. I will never play a racing game with a controller again because wheels make racing with a controller look incredibly boring and pointless.
Get a DFGT, it's only $100. Once you have the money though, I suggest Fanatec CSR wheel or G27
Just remember you need to setup your wheel in a specific way for it to work with Formula One.
Theese are the best settings i have found so far for F1 with a Fanatec wheel.
