Problem when starting the game

Hi
I got the game for Christmas and have it installed on our computer.
If I want to start now with me the following message appears:
"Support for DirectX 10 and 11, required".
However, we have DirectX 10 on our computer.
Please help!

For all of you guys that are having this problem i recommend you to download the Directx10 SDK. You can download it from Microsoft's web site, it will fix any problem related to directx. Even if you are running DX11, install Dx10 sdk and then install the dx 11 updates, it will fix the problems.

The problem is the graphics card does not support dx 10/11. You will need a new graphics card. I got mine from pc world. Ge force 210 for £19.99. I then found I needed a multi core processer, hopefully when that comes I can play the game

Windows 7 has Dx 11 installed if you have the latest downloads al should be ok

My graphics card is Nvidia GT 220.
I tried installing the game on my notebook but theres the same problem.
My notebook has a Nvidia 9600M GS.

DX10/11 isn't supported by Windows XP. I'm going to assume that's your issue.

I have Windows vista on my computer.
Is the game running with the graphics card nvidia geforce GT 220???
I thought that the graphics card is ok but it doesn't want to start.

Now when I start the game there is the message:
"Support for DirectX 10 and 11, required".
And after I clicked on OK it starts again and it starts finishing the installation.
A short time after it has been started there is the problem code 41.
I tried to start it later but then it doesn't started the finishing.

to the ones having problem with starting the game - we found a solution for those with error message "app already running"
In NVidia settings (I do not know how is it in case of other graphic cards) you just go to 3D settings and it is sufficient just for "3D Apps - games" to turn of the vertical synchronization (VSync). I started to play the game after more than 2 weeks of searching where the problem can be....
