Why is every interesting game F2P?

I was hoping for a single player game but this is yet another Gacha hell....

The gaming industry has been capitalizing on gaming addiction for over a decade now. Times have changed. They tried draining our wallets with paid DLC, but why do that when you can implement dopamine drip feeds aka gacha.

You have two extremes: Either developers are prioritizing profits, which means they need to make the game and characters actually appealing, which also means it's likely to be F2P/Gacha.

OR

The developers are pushing agenda over profits, so they make ♥♥♥♥ ugly on purpose.

Yeah idk same problem I have with ZZZ, super high quality but its a F2P live service gacha game. In miHoYo's case they have the money so idk why they don't put their time into a super high quality single-player game with possible coop. I mean they obviously care more about easy profits over trying to make something that takes more effort than what their doing.


There's literally no point of playing these games unless your a whaled up goonball that's borderline braindead.

It is since you're pretending that ZZZ being F2P is bad, this mean that paid game have things that ZZZ does not. So asking what ZZZ is lacking due to it being F2P is a question.
But the answer being nothing you prefer not to say anything, ZZZ is far better than most paid rogue-like.

All I said was being F2P is intrinsically bad within itself but as well cuz its a gacha live service game. That's literally all I said and your loosing your mind goin braindead mode.

Also whatever your trying to say is worded hella weird and seemingly goes against the point your tying to make but that's how I'm reading it. I dont disagree with what your trying to say but the game no differently profit focused than any other F2P game and its design could be more but its made lesser than what it could be to fit a simplification within mobile game design.


Overall I don't think the game is terrible at all but the F2P systems that exist are garbage and no I don't think paid games that do similar or worse stuff (especially when they have shops) is right either. But if they made a normal game that wasn't a phone game they could definitely do so much more than what their doing now for easy cash.

There's nothing off rail, the topic is people commplaining about games being F2P, and you too are saying that it's bad that a game is F2P, yet you dont give any reason as to why it's bad.
So obviously i ask for asked reason, but in the end all you said was, "F2P bad because it's F2P."
You're the only one losing your mind for no reason...

All game are made to make money, there's no difference between a gacha game and a paid. Many gacha game dev are less greedy that paid game dev simply because any good gacha game receive free content for a long time, exactly like any good paid game receive free content for a long time.
There's a huge amount of paid game that are nothing more than cash grab.

Either you are one of those people with little to no self control and blames it on the game instead, or you have never played any gacha game. Especially these days gacha games can be played 100% free with little to no issue. In the past you had these cheap auto battler grinders that would try to squeeze out as much money as possible before pulling the plug. But those days are over. In order to compete in this severely over saturated market gacha games have to stand out a lot more than before.
