There's a market and audience for every kind of game genre out there. Just because you're not interested or the game in question isn't being directed at what's currently trending does not mean that no consumer would be interested in playing.
Geez, why do people make posts like this, anyway?
Well, okay, this is an f2p tb RPG //// Bring me a successful f2p turn-based rpg
- Dofus
- Wakfu
- Atlantica Online
and they have big enough playerbase so the games continue being developed and are far from shutting down.
online is not even displayed in the steam... that is , it is less than 300 people ... undoubtedly you can say that there is an alternative launcher Asian, European.... Lunar server...

In case you don't know, there exist two websites for measuring Steam data, one is called SteamCharts, the other is called SteamDB. I prefer the latter, because it extracts a lot of data from Steam, here is an example:

Wakfu ranges between 200 and 500 players, just on Steam.

Atlantica Online has steady 150 players.
And in case you're feeling very smart, let me tell you that Steam is not the only platform where these games are played. People play them outside of Steam, did you know that?! How could you...

Atlantica Online even has multiple versions operating:
http://at.valofe.com/main - the global version intended for the Western audience
https://atlantica.lytogame.com/default.asp?v=JU8XS4ELRV&ref=1 the Indonesian version
Look at this:
http://at.pmang.jp/ a Japanese version of Atlantica Online... who would've thought?
What are you trying to tell me? There are plenty of people playing these games, you just choose to ignore that fact, because the reality doesn't suit your narrative. At the end of the day, this game will release the way it is, whether you like it or not. I can't say I will like it either, but don't try to force upon your opinions like everyone believes them.
...As you said a lot of bull crap that has no value, because you pulled it out of your ass.
I play The Lord of the Rings Online, but not on Steam. On Steam you can see about 1500-2000 players, but everyone with more than one barely functioning brain cell knows that LOTRO is best played not on Steam, because the Steam version is bugged for many people as the launcher that ships with the Steam version is outdated and results in corrupted game files and many people not being able to even launch the game on Steam.
That's why more than 80% of the LOTRO playerbase doesn't use Steam so Steam numbers are not an accurate estimation of anything, they are only accurate if you are too stupid.
What am I wrong about? All I see is your insults.
because you'd be wrong, hell just recently Honkai StarRail came out with huge player base numbers and is very successful.
The majority of MMO player use stand-alone luncher instead of Steam, because there's no point in having these game on Steam.
