Unlock Day 7 for all chars automatically?

Beating a Day with any character should unlock it for all characters. I enjoy this game, but in the end it's too easy for me and I'm not going to slog through Day's 1 to 6 with all 5 characters when I've already beat the game. The game ultimately isn't *that* different with the different characters so having to unlock the Days independently just feels like work. A simple mod to unlock everything would be great.

I don't see why they make us unlock every day with every character, the early days are far too easy to force one to go through all that.

Yes. I tried to see if simple save state hacking was possible, but the save file is encrypted or something. Why even bother doing that for a single player game? In a lot of games it’s just text or json and easily editable.

I think there could be an "Iron Man" setting which results in the current behavior and is the default. But unchecking it would mean that once you beat a day with one character, it's unlocked for all characters from then on. I know most rougelikes (or is it roguelites, I can never keep them straight) don't do this but I think it would fit in here. Particularly with the two sets of stamps you can earn: the higher-level stamps might require Iron Man mode or something like that.
