How to Beat Day 7 (most of the time)
== Killing Final Boss

To beat the final boss after shogun, you want a high damage weapon (eg +7 pike), a free play teleport, some kind of curse, Reactive Shield and a few edamames,

Don't try to kill all the spawned enemies. If you can get slower melee guys to your flanks that is good.

Learn how the sword dropdown works. It will follow you until you stop moving then you have 1 turn to side-step. Sometimes you need to take a hit if you can do good damage to the big guy in return.

Free-play teleport tiles are OP. Forward smoke bomb is best then mirror. Origin of Symmetry not so useful as it usually won't move you out of the way of an attack.

== Best skills:

* Combo Coin early in the game is OP (assuming you have a 2 kill weapon)
* Mindfulness and Two-Faced Dancer are OP (free cooldown / turnaround)
* Both the combo recharges are good.
* Reactive Shield and Chilling Blood are OP. (shield is better against unfreezable bosses)
* Healthy (+2 HP) is good (duh)
* Big Pockets is good early, since you can sell the extra items.

== Early Levels Strategy:

Hide behind slow melee guys to keep away archers, Grapplers, Shinobi, Shadow Chargers.
Kill Warden , Shielder, Kabukai, Yumi Snipers ASAP because they are a pain.

Speed is not important. Recharge as must as possible if you are not taking hits. Don't kill 2nd to last guy until you are recharged.

== Shops:

Get damage early. (+1 damage / +1 cool down) is a good deal.

* Combo, Guarding and Enchant are best shops.
* Don't restock after first 2 times (too expensive)
* Always do blood trade if Edamame brew is available (+1 HP for free)

To kill the bosses it's preferable to have a curse. Either the curse tile or a cursed weapon. Poison not worth it.

** Weapons:

You need a heavy hitter plus some fast low damage weapons for Corrupted Progeny and Spike Chargers. (Ronin push or push weapon good for this.)

* Nagiboku with freeze or curse is OP. (Hits up to 4 enemeies.)
* Kunai with shockwave or perfect strike is OP.
* Chakram is good. Keep in back pocket until it builds up.
* Pike kills 2 OP
* Crossbow good but slow. (watch out for Kabukais cloning crossbow)
* Scar Strike is good.

Here is a cheesy strategy that took me through day 7: you can use weak enemies to body-block stronger enemies indefinitely (just bait an attack then jump away), so cooldown upgrades aren't really that important on attack tiles due to the fact that you can stall indefinitely while your attacks recharge. The only thing cooldown upgrades are really useful for are mobility skills since they're useful for getting away from bad spawn-ins. If you have an ability that skips the first enemy (eg. lightning) then you can hide behind a weak enemy while you clear out the units behind it.

I propose getting rid of spawns if you can (the lightning setup above works well, if you can still manouver enough). The danger comes from the big double strikers spawning behind them, the boss removing your meat shield and you end up eating damage.

One thing I don't really know how it works: Scar with Shockwave. I don't really understand how shockwave operates when it strikes multiple enemies stuck together, but with Scar it SLAPS pretty hard. Everytime I had this combo was a Corrupted Soul win.

Other than that, in general I go for two hard hitter tiles (one melee, one ranged if possible), two movement tiles (mirror and smoke bomb are the best imo) and two utility tiles, like pushing tiles or ice/cursed tiles with low cooldown. Obtaining a katana and ice early is like winning the lottery. Cursed staff with backstab does wonders as well.

If you chance upon kunai and curse, the run is pretty much wrapped.
