The 30 minute stamp seems anti-strategy

Most of my runs take over an hour. This is a game where thinking and planing ahead is critical.

The idea that I should rush and think less flies in the face of the awesome depth of strategy on display here.

I really hate time-limits in games. They serve only to create stress for me. I also understand that this is a personal preference, but it's especially egregious in a strategy game.

I love this game, and learning to take my time and plan my moves felt great. I hate to see content locked behind a time-gate.

must be left as some optional game+ chalenge

its a challenge for a reason, and it's optional since you only need 3 stamps to unlock customization so you can just do the other ones.

Agreed. I haven't done that challenge yet as I'm still learning the game. Maybe a way to make this challenge easier is when enemies spawn, just pause the game. The screen does become darker, but you can still kind of see what is going on.

I really like the time challenge, specifically because its, well, a challenge. It challenges you to play in a different way, in much the same way speed chess does. Don't treat a speed run the same way you treat a regular run.

Some of my friends and I kinda compete for Slay the Spire speedruns, all of them were flabbergasted the first time they watched me try a run with zero worry about whether or not it'd actually succeed lol.

Got it, with a little luck but without trying, on my first try with shadow character. Max Kunai with multiple sniper skills and combo recharge. Got me also the black stamp for strategist. Even had 3 minutes to spare and was wasting loads of time. While the extra speed of the shadow character helps, it is by no means necessary. All was done on Day 1 difficulty though.

It's a bit silly too since you can just esc to pause the game while you strategize
