At first, combos are just satisfying :D
But then yup, in some specific shop, you can buy perks that gives you bonuses with combos (money, instant recharge of the tile that ended the combo, cursing ennemies remaining, and so on)

i agree with this. At higher days combos are often inefficient and lead to me taking damage. So it loses the coolness. I would like to see an increase/chance of more money dropped from combo kills.
There's an upgrade that gives you more money for combo kills already. Combo kills are typically only inefficient if you're going to take damage and if you're going to take damage you're not going to do the combo regardless of whether or not it gives you a bonus or not.
The price of the upgrade could be cheaper maybe but that's about it. I never really see a great need in taking it, even in higher days where money is scarce.
But yeah, comboing in the early levels for the sake of having a combo is dangerousand gives zero upside from a strategic perspective.
