I need help to unlock the third character, I don't know how to find "Nobunaga the wicked"

I think it's based on what path you pick in the first choice?

It's not the path on the first choice, but one of the later choices.

Keep an eye on the area names when you make your choice of where to go, and you'll find that Nobunaga and his equivalent have their names on those areas. Just pick whichever you need and you'll be fine.

How do you pick the lower Island? No matter what I do my path always leads to the north island.

It's all on the same island at this point, just the difference between the northern path and the lower path. The Southern Island appears to be a teaser.
