There's a soft cap at lvl 30. Until lvl 30 you get stat and skill points each level. After lvl 30, you get them once every 5 levels.
1) Putting 5, 10, 40 and let's buying +2 level from traders because it become 7, 12, 42 (+2 can stack) ?
OR
2) Putting 3, 8, 38 and let's buying +2 level from traders because it can't be up to 5, 10, 40 (+2 can't stack) ?
OR
3) Knowing first all place in-game where i can raise skills just by decipher or other way to lower 3, 8, 38 requirement for maxed skills ?
It's my first run about this game Avernum 1.
There are plenty of possibility about skills, traits . With such limited 73 points, any wasting points will lead to bad hero.
And last question : is there a way to modify max level 50 ?
They do stack, and you can get above the limit, but it's not that significant a gain once you get up there. Mostly, what I've found, is that I'm raising lower tier stats in order to raise the upper tier. Maxing out lower tiers isn't as beneficial as raising the upper tiers.
