Lightning Bolt bugged?

It seems that Lightning Bolt doesn't work with a number of things.
Namely:

• Electromagnetism [lightning kills pull exp rings to you] (I would've thought LB would count as shock damage but apparently not)
  
• Doom Rounds [next shot after kill deals +50% damage]
  
• Death Replenish [Doom Round kills give +100% attack speed for next attack]
  
• Revolver's Flash Shot (I) [single shot kills throw a Flashbang]

Revolver's Rapid Fire (VI) [shot hits grant +15% attack speed, misses reset]

[/list]I'm confident there's more but only played my first game of lightning in like a year and a half but it seems that it doesn't work with on hit effects while it works fine with on kill effects, whether that's intentional or otherwise.
