Can someone tell me how to get the True Ending without spoilers?

I think it has something to do with the unique event but I haven't gotten it in a while. I know it's ironic how I have 1 week in this game and still haven't gotten the True Ending. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you only need to beat the game on the hard difficulty.

Beat the game on hard mode, that is the only requirement.
