Whaa?
As for your direct problem. When starting a new game/new world. Try a different name for a new world at least in classic you have such option.
*Classic you supposed to have option to edit save... but you can't. Why? Because game was abandoned mid development while he was charging for cut content or as more commonly known these days "cosmetics DLC"
Then you have another of his game with many bugs abandoned. Clunky GUI. Missing basic features.
That's all good according to Valve. They can do early access now after they abandoned previous of his title.
Ahh. I've never played the classic version so I have nothing to compare it to. But it's unfortunate to see what you're saying because the game is pretty cool. BUT, it is pretty clunky in its UI, etc.
I also saw no way to add a 'name' to the save. Maybe I'm just missing it?
EDIT: yeah, i have the new edition of the game, and its still broken.
