What locomotion options will there be?
I'm wondering, because one of my friends doesn't know if they can play it, since they get pretty motion sick pretty quickly. Also, do you think the graphical quality could compete with Half-Life: Alyx?

We will have "WASD"-type locomotion on the stick like you have come to expect from other VR games. On top of that, you'll be able to use a jetpack to fly/jump around the game. This one has much more freedom than the jetpack in Red Matter 1. It's closer to "Daedalus" another game we developed originally for GearVR. You have a lot of freedom! :)
We also have the ability to sprint by clicking on the joystick, virtual crouching, and of course turning. And tons of options for pretty much everything.

We also have the option for teleportation only if you just can't take any of it.

In terms of graphical quality, comparing the game to Half-Life Alyx is such a tall order, we are after all a small team. But I'd lie if I didn't say we had Alyx as our north star for sure.
Personally, I believe the game looks like a few others on Steam. The textures are high res, the picture quality is very crisp with MSAA. At the same time, the game is able to run very well. So you will be able to crank up the resolution and framerate higher than your usual VR game.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the graphical quality. But don't take our word for it, you can always wait for the reviews to roll in :D

It's the jetpack flying around that would make me nauseous. Can you teleport to all places instead of using the jetpack or are you forced to use the jetpack in some areas?

You can replace the jetpack with teleport only if you wish.

Cool, thanks.

I played Red Matter 1 and got nauseous. I hoped with Red Matter 2 being newer, it would have improved, it hasn't. I loved Half Life: Alyx and didn't get any nausea.

I'm prone to motion sickness as well. Does the teleport option in this game not work very well to eliminate nausea?

Teleportation should work just like you would expect. If you are still feeling nausea, the only explanation I can think of is if you are still using smooth turning. Make sure to turn that off.
