1: Gal Gun Double Peace - Tongue in cheek anime humour with the best trophy list.
2: Gal Gun / Gal Gun Returns - Just as good as GG Double Peace in many ways but clearly the first step for the series, before refining.
3: Gal Gun 2 - Not a real rail shooter as you stand on single spots, to make it good for VR. It's funny too but feels like actual fan service.
4: Gal Gun VR - I haven't played this one actually, but I gather it's basically a tech demo for what became GG2 so I'm guessing it would go here in the list. Probably has its own merits.
I spent a lot of time S ranking every stage.
I see, was unclear on the founding of the studio. I stopped playing console games as much right during that time.
Any Gunvolt game (especially GV3)
Blaster Master Zero is pretty good too
havent played Bloodstained or CotM yet
2) Megaman Zero 3
2) Megaman Zero 4
4) Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2
5) Megaman Zero 1
6) Blaster Master Zero 2
7) Megaman Zero 2
8) Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
9) Blaster Master Zero 3
10) Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX
That's my personal list but, also, I'm not rating Gal Gun games because they're so different from usual Inti games.
Me too. There's a couple of bad points (the escort mission lol) but I like it more than 2.
edit:
also Gal Gun opinions:
without VR, play Returns.
with VR, play Gal Gun 2.
regardless, avoid Double Peace. It has the worst levels, by far the worst minigames, the only real point it has is that you can learn the origins of the Kamizono sisters...
Double Peace is a light gun game for mental geriatrics playing on a gamepad plus also the most boring minigame ever conceived repeated several times per playthrough. It is, at best, a worse version of Returns, which featured a more exciting level design, a better combo system, vastly better minigames, better characterisation of the cast... if Double Peace is most liked it's because it's the first major release in the west or, otherwise, because it had more of a fanservice orientation
Also I agree that the defence missions in GG2 are boring. But the actual standard missions (and the few missions where you have to search for items) are mad fun in VR.
