Emperor Edition Vs Gold? Same?

Does the gold edition come with the same things as the Emperor Edition?

As far as I know, Gold comes with Disharmony as well for 1 dollar (on this sale) so its worth it. My question is: does the gold edition come with the emperor edition or what?

Gold edition comes with the Disharmony DLC.

No it doesn't make a whole ton of sense. But the fact stands, if you don't have ES already, get the Gold edition. It has the most bang for your buck gameplay wise.

They scrapped the admiral edition. Everybody that owned the Admiral editiongot their games upgraded to Emperor edition for free.

Basicly the question is if you want to buy the base game or a bundle that incudes the expansion. My vote goes for the expansion since it's much cheaper to buy it in a bundle as oppose to only buying the expansion on it's own.

The only editions of Endless Space you can get are Emperor and Gold, ES is Emperor Edition by default so my guess is that yes, gold comes with the Emperor Edition and Disharmony

When I put them both in my cart it said that the empire edition was already in my cart when i had the gold edition there too.

I bought it and right-clicked to "view downloadable content" it said I had the Emperor Edition key.

Yes, the default version of the game, in any form, is the 'Emperor Edition". Buying the Gold bundle just nets you the DLC as well.

I know this is a bit of a necro, but meh.

Emperor Edition comes with the DLC as well. So it makes no sense to pay an extra dollar. So far the only difference I see between the two is the icon graphic in your library.

Are you sure you didn't purchase the Gold edition or the Disharmony expansion separately? You can check which edition you purchased exactly in your Steam account settings.
