Good Mods for the game

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone knows of any really good mods for Endless Space, such as additional units or perhaps new, custom races not made in the custom race maker. :-p I'm always looking for interesting stuff, so let me know of anything you guys like that's up to date (I once found a mod that made the pirates a playable faction, but the mod was outdated and wouldn't work on my version of the game).

i use a mod for endless space, its called the endless genetics and it adds 100 diff perks and ability to increase your perk pool for creating the race like you want them to be ^^

just want some more mods that add new space ship models

I'm looking forwards to mods that add races with their own ships to the game; it's interesting to see what people make for these things. I'm also curious to see how the mods go for new faction powers.

did anybody else experience any problems with the "Endless Genetics" Mod since the last Steam update on June 6th?

My custom race vanished and I m unable to load the mod (game simply doesnt start when I select load)

oh yes it does that to me to sometimes. the costum race you made always goes away but your saves stay. when it doesn't load i simply shut everything down and restart steam. then it's all fine here :)

Yeah sorry, I wasn't too happy about this either. :D Basically, when you created a custom faction and it wasn't considered legit in game (too many points etc), it was automatically deleted to avoid cheating in multiplayer. Now however, the custom faction should be saved, but greyed out or something, so you can edit it.

You should see it in our next update (expansion pack omg). :)

Will the expansion allow the modding of ship designs/skins for the use of costum factions?
or is it still unavailable?
