MultiPlayer Setting?

I have a couple of friends that I play with and if you can believe it, we have actually won against the AI; however the game didn't end.

I would imagine it has something to do with the setting for MP and what not? So here is my question.

What do I need to check and uncheck for an Alliance win by taking the computer players out completely?

There is actually no "Alliance victory" in Endless Space. Check the "Advanced Game Settings" in the lobby creation for the victories available and their description.

Then, is there a reccomndation to get an end game when the AI is beat? I guess, we could just end the game, but... that seems unsatifiing. :)

What you're referring to as an Alliance Victory is a Diplomatic Victory, which involves just waiting and doing lots of trades and stuff. In all technicality, if the game's already done in your opinion, just end it. I do it myself with my other friend; if the game's basically done, it's done.

Sometimes if the game is dragging on too long, you just have to end it to start a new one. Or just group together and quickly try to fetch a Wonder Victory or something.
