Hai, I just got this game and love it, but the tutorial isn't helping, anyone mind taching me the basics?

I'm just doing trial and error now. The game is brilliant, but it's a shame that it couldn't ease new players in a bit better with an actual interactive tutorial. Without something like that, the tech tree and military requirements are sorta left in the dark until you learn from failures. Then again, that may be the point of it all!

Help with what exactly? You've read the tutorials I assume, so what else did you need clarification/extra help with?
