how do you install mods on this?

I've looked it up countless times, I've made a folder called Modding in the Disharmony folder
C:\Users\AA\Documents\Endless Space\Disharmony
Do I put it in the Save or faction folder? I don't think so but this is a pain.

There is no directory that am aware of.

I looked at that the other day, did exactly that and it didn't work. I tried like six times. Does the Sandbox mod have to be installed in a special way? I made a Modding folder in Disharmony then extracted the mod in the Modding folder but it doesn't appear in the game

Your first link looks okay to me and yes its ...\Disharmony\Modding

I have the mod installed as well and its called Sandbox_Disharmony and has 3 folders and 2 more files in it. Now when I start up the game I ll have an additional entry under "Mods" on the first pop-up menu. Simply double-click that and you are good to go. Looks like this.....

Make sure you are currently running the Disharmony version (lower right corner) it might ve switched to classic on an unsuccessful load before.

Additionally you can set your launch settings (right click the game under steam --> properties --> Set Launch Options and write

+mod Sandbox_Disharmony

into the promptbox.

ok i am at my wits end with this i have tried every file path everything cant get this to work .i created a save game under libraries > Documents > My Documents > Endless space > Disharmony just so i had a disharmony file to create the Modding folder i created the modding folder extracted the files to the modding folder and nothing , i have tried changing my steam properties to launch the game from there i have tried it with changing steam launch properties , i have deleted the save file and disharmony folder made a new one myself and then extracted into that still nothing , no combination of any of these will make the fkn thing work any1 any ideas

So you are trying to get a mod run under Disharmony.

As stated in one of the posts above your last three folder have to be ..../EndlessSpace/Disharmony/Modding

What mod are you trying to run? Not all alre Disharmony-compatible (or need a lil "trick" to run)

Last.....go into your steam library, right click the game, select "properties". Under "set launch options" put in

+mod mymodhere


Disregard anything you tried already, I decided to put it here anyway for anybody else checking for mods.
