[Error] Index Out of Range Exception

I was on around turn 200 or so a few turns from winning the game and I got this error:

IndexOutOfRangeException: Array Index is out of range.

Any idea what caused it and how i can fix/avoid it in the future?

theres rumours mostly about the reasons but the error message usually isnt critical (read.....you can continue playing).

I find that I get error messages when I use the Rally Point Feature. Mostly popping up when I try to select fleets. Once I deactivate rally points I m fine.

So either you can continue playing or you can reload the game quickly (in case its a critical error - everything stays blurry and you cannot open any menues anymore - reload the last autosave)
