Capes
No hero customization?
A superhero strategy game that doesn't give you customization is going to be boring. Part of the fun of X-COM is the different classes and mix/matching in your characters that made it engaging and re-playable.

That is correct no hero customization. Unless if you count the pre-order skins 😝

Yeah not being able to create evan a single hero is a turnoff for me.
Also no capes in a game called Capes. :steamfacepalm:

Same customisation and character creation is a must have even Marvel's Midnight Suns had a character creation of some such.

Yeah I was hoping for small scale city of heroes customization inside of an Xcom skin.

This isnt XCom. Ask them politely. Quit being weird.

No custom character, no sale! How sad, I really love turn based games and the super hero genre.

Some Turn-Based games prioritize character creation, like XCOM2. Others prioritize pre-generated characters with set personalities, like Chimera Squad or Fire Emblem.

Not every game needs to let you make your own character. And not every Turn-Based game is XCOM 3.

Chimera Squad is Xcom2 built in 5 minutes. Fire Emblem is a bad clone. Rushed games are not exactly improving your point.
I'll wait until this game is $20.00 😆 and then I'll purchase it.

I just got the game and it's fantastic, especially for those of us who miss Freedom Force. Turn-based makes it even better to me. Sure, a custom character would be great, and maybe they can add it as DLC, but missing the entire game over it is juvenile.

Agreed and tbh it is the Lack of Superhero Tactics games even close to the likes of Freedom Force that had me toss this one on as an insta-buy and support because I want to see more games like this and of course like good old FF.

Allowing for modding, custom scenarios or hero skins like FF had would go a long way into the life of this game as well.
