Mouse Bug?

Anyone else having an issue where the mouse cursor keeps dragging to one side of the screen? As soon as I reach the title screen the mouse becomes almost unusable.

Once in the game, it's as if the mouse scroll wheel is constantly spinning, rotating through the action bar constantly and the screen spins.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing changed. Verified files and nothing changed. Switched mice, nothing changed.

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

do you have any controller plugged it? if so, try to disconnect it and see if it works fine

Hmm, that must have been it. I have a 8Bit DUO PRO 2, which is almost never plugged in, but almost always connected via bluetooth. As of this moment, it is disconnected, out in the living room on the other end of the house and when I booted up Sunkenland today everything is fine.

Very strange, but I guess you nailed it. I'll post any updates if there are any. Thank you for your suggestion!

So, confirmed, it was the controller. I was going to play a different game and when I turned it on, it made the cursor scroll in a similar fashion as when I played Sunkenland the other day.

Interestingly, my PC hadn't detected that it was connected and it was still in 'SWITCH' mode from when I was playing the switch with my girlfriend the previous day.

So if it was still on (but not recognized as connected to my PC) then that would explain what I saw the other day.

So the good news is, it's probably not Sunkenland at all. The bad news is, I'm an idiot with subpar equipment. Sorry for the trouble!
