Mouse selecting bug.

Played the first 5.5 hours without a problem. Now though, the mouse when hovered over a menu selection/inventory item, only briefly highlights it before the highlight disappears and it is no longer selectable. This makes it impossible to click and drag as the selection "loses its grip" (turns off so to speak). As a result, I can not drag new tools or clothing items to the hot bar or clothing slots any more.

Found another solution which is to unplug any controller (which I didn't know was plugged in) and this solved it.

I have the same problem but I don't have any controllers plugged in

Same problem, reinstall doesn't fix it, but unplugging my flight stick and throttle fixed it.

I have a logitech wheel so I will try to unplug that and see if it works.

Same bug with mouse. Hovering over items only displays item name for a brief second. You have to keep the mouse in motion in order to select something. As if the mouse cursor doesn't recognize the "item border box". Dragging is impossible, and creates ghost images that wont go away until you reload game save. I'll unplug controller and see if it fixes it.
