It is equivalent of replacing overeating with diarrhea. One was bad, but only required scaling back. While with second it is a solution that is so much worse than the problem is solves.
Fishtank is effective same thing as large fishnet, but now requires player to refill it with ocean water every two days. And you either have to run back and forth 10 times or make hardware store worth of buckets to do in 1-2 runs. How is it better!?! Considering that water is free and easy to get, all it add is tedium of just regularly running back and forth. It is same thing as with Advanced Purifier, where you have to just stand there for 20 seconds, holding button, to pump purifier full of salt water. Very engaging...
I dont know if big fishnet is still in game, havent checked blueprints menu. As i understand fish tank replaces it.
And yes, they ruined perfectly good widely used in game system of power management, replacing it with some weird overly simplified, inferior and counterintuitive alternative.
