SVD Receiver?

I have seen contracts for FAMAS and AUG receiver from the contractor.Anyone found SVD yet?

Had to clear a level 3 or 4 island to find, have yet to see SVD as contract. I do thoroughly enjoy the AUG and VSS in close assault, almost as much as a shottie. Nothing says stop your advance on my position like rapid shotgun response.

I have cleared up to level 2 by now,havent attempted level 3+.Im assuming its based on luck to get the contract.

I found the SVD in a green safe in level 5 power plant. One time inside the reactor, which is really hot radiation, have lots of rad away. One time found it in a green safe on second floor building next to the reactor. Real tough fight on this one. On another game I found it in Dreadville, another tough fight. But in other follow up games it was'nt on Dreadville. So it seems to move around, game to game, but always on a tough island. Good luck

Not based on luck. Both the weapons trader and contract giver have a finite set of items they list. I've cycled them both hundreds of times. SVD is found in location safes and lockers LV4 +

Don't feel bad, I'm almost end game. Only 2 level 5 islands left and I have yet to find any SVD receivers. I have all other parts but that. I have been refreshing contracts, gun parts vendor, and nothing.
