Are we talking about the same kind of crash?
Same kind of crashes here for my wife.
The screen flashes and the game freeze. No option left but kill the process.
On laptop MSI Katana 17 B12V
Windows 10 64b, Intel I7 16Gb RAM dans GeForce RTX 4070
By the way, on middle or high graphic level, the GPU is up to 100% usage.
But the crashes happens even on low graphic level.
She also get some timeout disconnection for no reason.
No problem on official version 0.2
Thanks for the help.
I would say your problem might be "memory 8GB". On my system (which has 32GB), the Sunkenland process regularly consumes more than 8GB, so it must be sailing really close to the edge on yours.
If that was a typo and you actually have more than 8GB, then make sure you have item respawn in your world settings set to a value greater than one day - a lot of people have reported that doing this fixes many of their reliability issues. I play with respawn set to 2 days, and only get crashes when the memory leaks finally get too great, usually after about two hours play.
