Moving Items

Does anyone know how to move items. I want to rearrange equipment, boxes, etc. This drives me nuts! HELP!

Would have to destroy it with a hammer and rebuild it. Having Pickup Item option would be a great feature to be added in the future. I'm sure someone will eventually make a mod for that.

Craft a "Packing Box." (Tool icon in your backpack crafting queue). Place the box on your belt and select it. Focus on the item (chest, barrel, workstation, etc.) that you want to move, and right-click. Ignore the message that says the item will be destroyed. It won't. The item will then appear in your backpack, and you can place it wherever you want.

Take note that you should empty out anything that is inside the item before you pack it up, else you may lose those items.

Or craft a repair hammer - you can then destroy stuff you have already built

I don't have the moving box in any of my menus. I've checked the backpack and the build menu. My research table is level 1 and it isn't there either. Thanks if you can help

It might be on a higher level of the research table, I can't remember when I was able to build it. Been using it for a while now. Or, maybe they locked it behind a blueprint.

Edit: Okay I checked, and it's not a blueprint. It must be on the Research Table. Probably level 2 I would guess.
