Eat and drink don't take long
The feeling of satiety doesn't last long. A full stomach only lasts 2 hours of play, which is not even half before the lease (sry Translator)

Yeah even with it set a little less than normal it's still fairly quick to go down.
All you can do is make sure you prepare better meals and cook all your food.
It's annoying and I am not a fan of this sort of thing but once you can cook some half decent meals it's not so bad and food generally isn't really a problem. Make some fishing nets and trade for canned food at the trader. It wont help with how quick it drops but if your meals replenish a lot more it does not seem so bad. If you spend all day farming strawberries and eat them raw it's going to be painful.

I ranted about this in another thread but this is the thing keeping me from wanting to play this game. I was looking for food in the mansion when i saw a shark so in a fit of desperation I attacked it with my knife spear. I got only two steaks out of a whole shark (seriously man), but when I went back and cooked one it only filled my hunger bar halfway up. I had to cook two to fill it all the way up. What kind of a freaking glutton am I that I need two huge steaks to fill me up?? Then my hunger bar went cruising back down again so apparently I have parasites. This game is a damn starvation simulator.

You might like to have more food in the evening and the big fishing nets, but you still have to sacrifice 2 places for food, cook more, often the net teachers, everything is in place and time also runs

I don't find the hunger or thirst mechanic to be that oppressive. You can grow strawberries and other things locally and get more and more seeds each time so you can end up with a huge garden of food. You can also fish or simply find food. For water, a purifier pretty much resolves any issues with that.

In my world the areas re-spawn every 4 days so that means all ovens and food items re-spawn.

I get this and I agree but sometimes for me this isn't the actual thing that gets me.
It's that I always need to eat and drink. I have heaps of food and that's not an issue but sometimes it feels like I need to eat every 5 minutes. I know it's not that often but once you do notice how often you need to eat it just seems that way.
It really becomes annoying.
I don't have a specific answer but I would love a way to slow down the frequency of having to eat. Increasing the food bar so I eat more when I do eat or something? I would turn it off if I could. Not because I can't manage it but because I just can't be bothered with it. Not far into the game it becomes so easy to get food and maintain food stocks that it just makes the whole eating thing a pointless chore.

hi the problem is not finding the food, but rather finding the frequency of eating, I want to play the game and not constantly think about feeding or making food

only takes a few hours of gameplay and food is waaaaay to easy.
I was super excited to build up an inventory of complex dishes, next thing I know, I have to go out of my way to reduce my food inventory, it just keeps going up and up!
next time I load up the game I'm going to turn up the food consumption setting

Same problem. Food becomes no longer and issue way too easy and too fast.
They need to increase max capacity for both satiety and hydration by at least two times(better three, this way player can eat a lot in one sitting, instead of taking bites every few hours), make food far less abundant(3 large fishing nets can feed one person for life and that is just one example) and add other features and restrictions(like food spoilage and remove certain buffs, like restore max energy). Would make canned foods/drinks actually worth a damn.
It should not bee too scarce and if player puts effort into it, he should be able to feed himself relatively easy. But right now it is too tedious and too easy.
