handcrafted airtank

Hey how do i find the handcrafted airtank, im almost at lvl 4 workbench and i still havent found it, a video on youtube says its supposed to be on the castaway island under the bow blueprint but it isnt where he show´s it would be, please help

As of now it doesnt seem to show up if you have already picked up the bow blueprint from the same spot pre patch. Think I saw a post where they intended to fix that but as it stands now only way seems to be to start a new world. Noticed it myself when I was going to craft my first airtank :(

You aren't missing out on much. It is a wonderful thing to have when you are in your 'early days' in a New World save, but the tank itself isn't anything to be overly concerned about if you already have Tier 4 Research. The handcrafted tank gives....maybe 30 extra seconds of O2, then unless you have the manual air pump, the handcrafted tank is then useless. I made one..used it once, then couldn't use it again until a few days later when I built the manual air pump....and then was so unsatisfied that I hurried to build the normal air tank.

Handcrafted version may not be much, but it is needed to craft higher tier one. So unless you have a handcrafted one, you cant make any other. Because every next tier requires tanks of previous tier.

Very good point, I had forgotten that little detail. I did notice that when I went to make the normal air tank.
