High Tech Stock?

Is it possible to get the high tech stock from the blueprint recycler? Ive either been having the worst luck, or something. multiple inventories full of parts / bps and this stock still eludes me.

Heh, trying to get the Blue Print by "legit means." Yes, had to edit the game files once already to get "unstuck" in a gap, but whose counting...

Some people claim to have this Blue Print, how are they getting it?

High Level Safe? Where?
Grinding down guns? Which?
BP Machine at Dreadville?

Over 200 days in now... Not seen it once...

I have 280 hours into the game. I've cleared every island multiple times. I've dumped hundreds of blueprints into the Dreadville machine. The only blueprint I don't have is the high tech stock. This is driving me crazy.

Is it possible this blueprint is at a fixed location underwater? Heard rumours about certain BP's at fixed locations. Can anyone confirm?

Thank you, that worked! Do you happen to have the item ID for the High Tech Barrel? Its the only other item I can’t find anywhere, despite being on day 175 with 1-day loot refresh. I’ll put an award on your profile for being such a saint!

Sorry, I don't know the ID, but maybe you can find it out: Copy the comma separared list of "LearnedItems" in Notepad++, search and replace comma by \r\n. Now copy the hole thing in Excel and sort it, It seems that the IDs are between 15003 - 15099 and 16001 - 16097. If there are IDs missing in your Excel Column, add them to the list of "LearnedItems". One should be the "High Tech Barrel".

I forgot one thing: In Notepad++ in the search-and-replay-window chose "regular expression" as searchmode, then the comma will be replaced by a new line, so that all IDs are in one line.

the secret is to have more then 300 points of blueprints put in Dreadvile mashine, then you will have more advanced parts

The High-tech stock DOES come from Dreadville. It's where I got mine - though it took quite a while (hundreds of blueprints, tens-of-thousands of points).

It seems that the range of possible items to get from Dreadville are:
Alloy....barrels, receivers and stocks
High-tech....barrels, receivers, stocks
Modern and calibrated....barrels
High-powered or Hollow-point....magazines

FYI, the issue with the high tech stock NOT coming from the machine in Dreadville was fixed in a recent update. Before that, it was an issue. Thread is essentially "Resolved" now.
