Single Player?

Can you play single player on your own world (offline)?

Keep seeing the Rust comparison in reviews and talking about multiplayer. I see the SinglePlayer tag under the game but I am wondering if that just means solo online or actually singleplayer offline. Is it like Arks offline mode?

Nice that's great! is it like Ark where it's offline without hosting a server or did you have to start a server?

No, I didn't start a server, nor did I with Ark for that matter... Not sure about online or offline, I just play the game..

Thanks for the info Pantherr. I came here looking for this but one question. Are there NPCs that join you to help defend/get supplies/etc?

I'm also wondering if there are NPCs in single-player mode. Can anyone answer that?

There are currently no 'friendly' NPCs in the game. There are two neutral trader NPCs - one static and one seasonal, located on a stationary flotilla near the starting island. Every other humanoid is hostile and will engage on sight.

Are you by yourself or do NPC helpers come about. I would be great if you could send them on missions with you or have them defend or pull some of the weight.

Alone you can set enemy from easy to insane,you can put raid off i you wish.same with survival difficulty.

Additional info : you can change all world modifiers (survival difficulty, raid frequency, enemy difficulty, etc.) EVERY TIME you continue your single player world ( = continue your SP game progress.)

i recently began to play this game yesterday and my saved data when i logged in it was erased i had to began all over again. Pls fix the issue

This is incredibly vague and unhelpful. Could you give more information? Like what mode you were playing, how long you played for, how much was erased (Was it the last few minutes of gameplay, or all of your progress?) and which specific option you used to exit the game, etc.
