Why should we need a PW in a game that states it has single player? Either they have SP or the main page is lying. No one should have to deal with people coming into their solo game.

There is an option to start a world as single player. OP is talking about an issue where even if you make a server, and select private game, some people can still join regardless. Only way around this is to put a password on your game.

Ok, not being able to play a game with single player without being hacked with a password seems like a developer skill issue, not even close to a player skill issue. When you place a PW and private game, that should be it. End of story.

This is true, I want to see better security, we had someone join our passworded server before, but I kicked them instantly.

Considering buying the game until I saw the reports of private games not being private. Not sure if this is actually a bug or server configuration issues. Due to the problems does anyone know if the game supports manual connection via IP? If so this is a non issue as I can isolate a server on a VLAN and make it impossible to access without the correct VPN Profile? But yeah def want to try this but cant pull the trigger until I know servers can be secured from griefing

Looked about this all over net they can join only if player is logged in friends&chat steam online.You can play any online game without logging in F&C with friends or alone.

It 100% happened, 4 people in my server can all account for it. I dont need to prove it to you, it happened. I get nothing out of making that up. We noticed the guy sitting in the bottom left of the map, no name showed up in the console, kicked him, and the server crashed. Restarted it, no problem, didnt join again.
