Well how do you do it?
Haha... Yeah was a mean spirited comment wasn't it. Telling you there is an answer and not sharing.
I have no clue what he actually means but thinking on it I can only imagine one way. If this person is a real friend it will be easier I guess but my idea would be for your friend to send you his save file. Then you can go for it and when they want to play you send him your save file back for him to run and join him there.
I don't know if this is a valid idea for you or not, nor how big the save files are offhand but it's all I can think of. Email or some file sharing service online might work. Maybe that person knows a far better way. Maybe you can't share multiplayer saves? I dunno.
But yes, what entirely is the point in saying you have a solution to something and not share the solution? We don't want to message you privately, that's obnoxious and absurd.
Other tech-savvy solutions besides the "leave your PC on" and the "just share your save file" is write a batch file that allows you to file share/network share, google drive, or git the saves and just copy them to the right folders.
I routinely backup my entire Sunkenland folder. A zipped game folder runs about 337kb at around day 150, YMMV (your mileage may vary). Just World save are around 200kb. I have my own website and will look into hosting free game saves for those that don't have github or the like.
