But really take everything and move to the next place is pretty standard in survival games. You get as advanced as you can be, get bored and restart. I doubt if anyone has had time to play the game enough to say there isn't enough to get everything. Loot respawn doesn't give you a reason to explore.
I don't know how limited this game's map will be to know whether the loot will need to respawn or not, but for now I'm finding enough but not too much. I just had to go out and find new places.
Generally I would shy away from "content creator" complaints because they want a game they can squeeze into a quick video before they move on to the next title. I want a game I can spend at least 30hrs in, hopefully 300 or ideally 3000. I just passed 20hrs in Sunkenland.
For the cost to craft them I'd think you'd get 10-12 instead of just 1.
The dev did actually mention that NPC's should respawn but loot hasn't been implemented.
I did urge them to add respawning of loot as well. Otherwise there's no reason to be running a server on this game if loot doesn't. The map would be picked clean within days lmao.
yeah imagine my shocked pikachu face when I wasted a glass, a rubber, and a scrap just for 1 component lol yeah its a fun game but I'm getting nowhere fast. My base has boxes and boxes of spare construction material. A box literally just for clothes I've found. But I can't actually unlock any new research or build any new equipment because its impossible to find components and too expensive to craft them. Ah well, on the shelf it goes until a balance update or a mod comes out.
It could be both. If they respawned, their rarity wouldn't be so bad, I'd just go back to where I know I could find some periodically. Or if they rebalanced, then they wouldn't necessarily need to respawn. If they gave corpses actual loot drops instead of giving me a single cloth from a guy decked out in iron armor blasting me with a shotgun that i can see in his hands but can't loot off his body, and put components into the droplist, another way of rebalancing that wouldn't necessitate respawning scav spots.
Yeah after the first update, I'm considering starting a new world with no random attacks. There's no xp or skills so there's no point if there's crap drops. A single strawberry or piece of cloth on a guy with a shotgun who tore up my base is not a good trade. Especially when they get stuck behind a wall somewhere and I have no way to kill them before they destroy the wall.
I see some players being careful not to loot the bar all the way to max before it breaks, and they get full respawn next time they visit. And some crates you don't break but open up. Just take 1 scrap and put in and you will get a full respawn
Without loot respawn you'll be forced to explore more of the world.
Forced to explore. Oh my
not know with loot respawn is under water bakc too or only on land each 10 days 10%or 15 % loot respawn for me to less for loot respawn
i want find better maybe 4 days ingame or real time all 3-5 hour or some thinks not sure is way up but for beginn better as nothing and find a balance for repawn must be too
What you sayd LTL King.. Loved Stranded Deep :)
Now in some corners I hear and read:
Oh no! I gotta go further than a stones throw from my base what do I do? Why can't I find anymore loot.. We need loot to respawn every day...
Where are those players sense of exploration, they're sense of enjoyment when finding and seeing new surroundings? The exitement of new things to see!
I would suggest to the Devs, make the loot respawn a manually adjustable setting for the players themselfs!
I would set it to no loot respawn, singleplayer or coop, gone is gone!
wat we need now is Mobs Respawn
if u play long term now, it's empty world
