Currently no! sadly I thought it would have been a T4 recipe. Hopefully soon
Now the heli has the storage equal to a military backpack and I've got it up to 215kph and it surely goes faster with a better pilot. I wouldn't want to do a combat landing yet but when I can it will be what I use, and if they change it to have pontoons so I can be sure it's supposed to float it will be all I use. Heli is worth the required practice time and fuel and heli fun.
ive seen a few post of the heli disappearing, is this common?
I think so. When it clips I think it poofs or launches if it can't recover. I had it go "somewhere" when I've "landed" it upside down. I've had it propel high into the sky and into the water landing it upside down (luckily it floats). And I've had it jitter when landing on a hillside but it stopped, I assume it was clipping. Whenever something goes drastically wrong like landing upside down or I see it jitter I get ready with alt-F4 to quit without saving.
Even if the last save will put you mid flight and you both drop into the ocean I've been able to save it the one time I had that happen.
As far as I know there is no way to flip it (because so far it has either launched or poofed) so if you land upside down alt-F4 is likely going to be needed.
As far as the person who loses theirs when they move away from it, I've had nothing like that. I have no guess for what's happening there.
Now I can confirm my heli going poof when it was safely parked at my base when I was away raiding.
This time instead of on top of my base as usual it was parked on 1 of 2 ocean level practice landing pads I had built.
